Your best bet is to contact someone at the headquarters of Genesis and explain your situation instead of trying to run away from them. Many companies will be happy to work with you to come to some mutually satisfactory solution. The fact that you quit going has no bearing on the contract you signed. You may also contact your local credit bureau who can usually help with things like this. I would not expect Genesis to simply forgive your debt, but I would think they can arrive at a plan by which you can pay your debt more comfortably given your present circumstances. You also need to thoroughly read your contract to see what your rights and theirs are to ensure that you know what avenues may be open to you. If you are not comfortable doing that, then have someone you know who is well educated do it for you.
